Latest creations in Knitting

I picked up the bug again for fairisle knitting, first attempted over 30 years ago when I knitted little items for my two daughters, having seen these old patterns on the web I instantly wanted to have a go at creating something for myself,so I hunted down the patterns and am in the middle of one jacket and have completed another heres the results....

From Knitting from the Islands by Patons, this was originally a jumper which I have adapted into a jacket.
I used Drops Nepal aran.

This is the next pattern I'm currently knitting, again I will adapt this older fashioned cardigan into a jacket.  This pattern was from Knitting from the British Islands by Alice Starmore. This cannot be found as a picture on the web so I put one up from my book. Find the materials and statistics for the pattern here
